Key Accountabilities/Outcomes
  • Balance on- and off-site storage stock sheets against SAP stock levels weekly, and work with the Warehouse and Distribution Manager to resolve discrepancies.
  • Reconcile all stock movement transactions by checking issues versus receipts, transferring stock on SAP, and filing documentation for future reference.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices and Proof of Delivery (POD) documents required from transporters.
  • Report goods returned by regions on SAP, ensuring physical collection and proper return to the correct warehouse.
  • Reconcile daily security route return vouchers against loader return vouchers for each truck.
  • Assist with POD returns to Finance and obtain necessary invoice signatures.
  • Create Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) for imported stock and forward them to Finance.
  • Ensure weekly overtime reports from distribution are reconciled with C-track reports, investigating and resolving variances.
  • Maintain communication with CCSL, regional teams, off-site manufacturers, Quality Control, and Planning regarding stock discrepancies, order ETAs, damages, and order changes.
  • Manage AARTO controls, ensuring traffic infringements are addressed within the prescribed 32-day period.
  • Cover pallet controller duties during periods of leave.
  • Disseminate daily 3rd-party stock reports.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required by the Warehouse and Distribution Manager.
  • Assist with and conduct monthly stock counts and weekly cycle counts.
  • Ensure inspection sheets and transfers are completed accurately from receiving to relevant locations.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards across all areas, including finished goods freezers, raw materials chillers, and packaging warehouses
  • Manage the timely flow of paperwork to Administration, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Maintain data and records to support analysis and job understanding.
  • Keep accurate records of inventory levels and logistics activities.
  • Prepare reports to support management decision-making in Logistics.
  • Assist the team in running day-to-day warehouse operations.
Qualification/Skills/Experience
  • Grade 12
  • Diploma or certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management (advantageous).
  • 5 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • Exposure to stock reconciliation, POD management, and GRV processing.
  • Proficiency in SAP transactions (stock transfers, GRVs, reporting).
  • Strong MS Excel and MS Office skills for reporting and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with C-track or fleet management systems.
  • Understanding of AARTO traffic infringement processes.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety and housekeeping standards.
