A leading transportation company is seeking an individual to manage the logistics processes between vehicle ordering and delivery. The role requires strong organisational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines, ensuring all procedures are followed. Applicants should have a Matric certificate, logistical experience, and a driver's license is advantageous. This is a great opportunity to support a dynamic sales team while upholding the company’s positive brand image.
The main responsibility of this role is to manage the process between the ordering of vehicles and the delivery of them to the customer, and to provide support for the sales team. This is achieved by working in a structured methodical way adhering to defined processes and procedures. Organisational skills are essential as many activities are deadline driven. Focusing on communication with internal and external customers and suppliers, whilst conveying a positive Scania brand image, is the key to fulfilling this role efficiently. To proactively drive and control logistics flow of the vehicles order to delivery process and related administration functions.
