Logistics Assistant

As a Logistics Assistant, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our supply chain. Your responsibilities include coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and working closely with our internal teams to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of products. In short, your work consists of:

• Coordinating outbound and inbound shipments to our customers and transport partners
• Managing inventory levels and conducting regular stock checks
• Processing and tracking orders in SAP or relevant logistics systems
• Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Monitoring delivery schedules and proactively resolving delays or issues
• Tracking of Loan materials and arranging for returns from customers with our transport partner
• Organize loan materials and prepare them for the next delivery
• Collaborating with the Customer Service and Operations teams to optimize logistics processes

In this position, you will work in a small, close‑knit team of experts and report to the Head of Operations. Since product and process knowledge is very important in this position, we provide an intensive training program and will teach you all the tricks of the trade in the coming months.

What are you bringing?

In this position, it is important that you have strong organizational and communication skills. You know how to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders and have the drive and eagerness to learn logistics processes in the coming months. In addition, you bring:

• Experience in a similar logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination role, or experience in the medical/dental industry
• Knowledge of the English and Afrikaans language
• Familiarity with logistics software, SAP, and MS Office (including Excel)
