A leading Food Distribution Company is looking for a Logistics and Warehouse Manager in Gauteng, South Africa. Qualifications

Position Overview

As Logistics and Warehouse Manager, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution. This role is critical in ensuring efficient stock management, timely deliveries, and smooth operations within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
  • Ensure accurate stock management and conduct regular inventory checks.
  • Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards in line with company and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate transport and distribution to ensure on‑time delivery to customers.
  • Supervise and develop logistics and warehouse staff, including pickers and forklift drivers.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams for operational alignment.
  • Control operational costs and manage budgets effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree / diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in food distribution or FMCG.
  • Own reliable vehicle.
  • Proven leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Proficiency in Syspro System and MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license (Code 10 preferably).
  • Forklift license advantageous.
