Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics & Stock Controller to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong operational, planning, and stock control capabilities to support a fast‑paced and hands‑on environment.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing stock accuracy, coordinating fitment routes, and providing essential operational and administrative support to ensure seamless daily operations.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (minimum).
  • 2–3 years’ experience in stock control, logistics, or operations administration (preferred).
  • Experience within the automotive sector is advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license (essential).
  • Local route knowledge beneficial.

  • Computer literate (Excel, Outlook, Word, Google Sheets & stock management systems/apps).

Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances.
  • Monitor stock usage and communicate restocking needs.
  • Ensure the stock room is organised with controlled access.
Fitment & Route Planning
  • Develop and manage efficient daily/weekly route plans for fitment teams.
  • Schedule optimally to reduce downtime and travel inefficiencies.
  • Track unfitted vehicles and ensure timely follow‑ups.
Returns & Quality Control
  • Manage all product returns and exchanges.
  • Record reasons for returns and provide feedback to relevant departments.
  • Oversee storage and condition of returned stock.
Administrative Support
  • Provide backup support for invoicing, job cards, and customer coordination.
  • Capture fitment and delivery data accurately.
  • Assist with reporting and general operational requirements.
Fitment Assistance (as needed)
  • Perform car seat cover fitments at the branch or on‑site during peak demand.
