Job description

Zebra Nature Reserve is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lodge Manager to join our management team.

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of three lodges and three self-catering units, ensuring excellent guest experiences, smooth operational management, and financial accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily running of all camps and self-catering units.
  • Manage and motivate staff across different departments.
  • Ensure a high standard of guest service and hospitality.
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and revenue streams.
  • Implement and maintain operational systems for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and hospitality standards.
  • Report on lodge performance to senior management.
Requirements
  • Hotel Management qualification.
  • Previous lodge management experience (advantageous).
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of CIMSO POS Systems (or similar systems) (advantageous).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously.
  • Hands‑on approach with a focus on problem‑solving and guest satisfaction.
