Located in Blouberg, the practice provides a calm, professional, and supportive environment for both clients and clinicians.

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Locum Psychologist to join our team on a full-time basis at our Blouberg practice.

The ideal candidate should be confident in providing therapy across a range of client presentations, committed to ethical and evidence-based practice, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
  • Conduct psychological assessments where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians and support staff in the practice.
  • Uphold professional standards in line with HPCSA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
  • Registered with the HPCSA as an Independent Psychologist.
  • Valid Practice Number (PS Number).
  • Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of post-registration experience in clinical practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a steady caseload and maintain professionalism under pressure.
