Applicants must:

• Be registered with the HPCSA.
• Hold current medical indemnity insurance (MPS or equivalent).
• Have at least two years' post-community service experience (preferred).
• Be competent in general practice, chronic disease management, minor procedures and medical emergencies.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and patient-centred care.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

Computer Literacy

Applicants must be computer literate and proficient in:

• Outlook, Word and Excel
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Previous experience with GoodX Practice Management Software will be highly advantageous.

Applicants should be comfortable working in a fully digital, paperless medical environment.

Experience and Exposure in the Following Will Be Advantageous

• Previous experience in Private Medical Practice.
• Experience conducting Home Visits / House Calls.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including Saturdays and Public Holidays, where required.
• Experience in Minor Surgical Procedures and IV Therapy.
• Experience in Telemedicine Consultations.
• Experience using Diagnostic Medical Equipment (e.g. ECG, Stress ECG, Spirometry, Audiometry and Point-of-Care Testing).
