Duties & Responsibilities

• Examine teeth, gums, and mouth to identify dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, oral cancer, infections, and malocclusion.
• Fill cavities, extract teeth, perform root canals, place crowns and bridges, dentures, and conduct other restorative and cosmetic procedures.
• Conduct regular checkups, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and provide sealants or other preventive treatments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, costs, and expected outcomes.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions and follow-up as necessary.
• Build trust and rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Must hold a recognized Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree.
• ComService (Community Service) must have been completed.
• Dentists must be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa under the Professional Board for Dental Therapy and Oral Hygiene.
• Experience performing a wide range of procedures: restorative work, extractions, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry required.
• Familiarity with modern dental tools, digital imaging systems, CAD/CAM, and practice management software.
