Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join their expanding fleet in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will ensure safe, timely deliveries while upholding excellent customer service and professional driving standards.

The role requires a Code 10 or Code 14 license with a clean record, prior delivery experience, and strong route knowledge of the area. A company vehicle is provided with a fuel allowance and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience as Delivery Driver or similar role within logistics.
• Familiarity with Tembisa and surrounding areas for efficient routing.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and policies.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring they are secured for transit.
• Deliver products to customers at designated locations promptly and courteously.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and cargo area.
• Obtain signatures and documentation for deliveries, confirming proof of delivery.
