Job summary

Omnia Holdings Limited is seeking a Warehouse Loader for the Middelburg magazine and yard in Mpumalanga. You will pick, receive, and load orders, perform housekeeping, and ensure safe handling of stock according to SOPs.

The role requires 1 year in a warehouse and 1 year in manufacturing, plus forklift experience. Join a diverse industrial group delivering safe, efficient mining and materials support across operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• To pick, receive, load incoming and outgoing orders to and from the trucks in a safe and secure manner.
• To perform housekeeping tasks in the magazine and yard to maintain neat, tidy, safe areas.
• To complete inventory cycle counts as scheduled by Stock Controller and investigate discrepancies.
• To position and transfer stock in the magazine to maximise space and ensure FIFO management.
• To report inventory concerns to the supervisor and follow SHERQ and regulatory requirements.

ROLE IMPACT

To pick, receive, load incoming and outgoing orders to and from the trucks in a safe and secure manner as well as perform housekeeping tasks when required within the magazine and yard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To perform all magazine activities in compliance with standard operating procedures, regulation and legislation (this includes receiving, put-away, picking, loading and cycle counts).
• To identify and report any concerns and/or issues pertaining to the status of inventory to relevant supervisor.
• To complete inventory cycle counts as per the schedule provided by the Stock Controller and investigate all discrepancies.
• To position and transfer stock in a magazine as per the instructions provided by supervisory staff in order to ensure to efficient use of space (ensure floor to matching system), and FIFO management of stock.
• To perform effective housekeeping of the magazine and yard so that these areas are neat, tidy, safe and comply with all SHERQ and legislative requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• 1 year demonstrated experience in a warehouse environment
• 1 year demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift experience (D)
