This full-time role involves household management, engaging with youth, and providing personal care, while working a week-on/week-off schedule. We are seeking an energetic compassionate and resilient Live-in Carer to join our Out of Home Care accommodation services in Kununurra WA.
This role includes sleep over shifts.
This is a challenging role but the reward for your dedication and persistence is knowing that you can positively impact the lives of young people; young people who have experienced trauma and may be displaying challenging behaviours as a result.
We are looking for a people-person someone our young people can trust, someone who has their best interests at heart and someone who can balance the needs of the young people with the organisational requirements of policy documentation and reporting. Our Live-in Carers are a great example of employees who thrive on responsibility, communicate clearly, are calm in a crisis and are flexible in their responses.
