Job summary

A legal recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Attorney for civil litigation in Langeberg Local Municipality. Ideal candidates will hold an LLB, be admitted attorneys, and have a minimum of 3 years' post-admission experience. Qualifications

• Handling all aspects of civil litigation including divorces and evictions.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing applications, summonses, affidavits, notices, and other court documents.
• Representing clients in various courts.

Job description

Minimum requirements :

• LLB and Admitted Attorney
• At least 3 years' post-admission experience
• Civil Litigation
• Experience with Ghost Practice will be beneficial
• Handling all aspects of civil litigation, including divorces and evictions
• Drafting and reviewing applications, summonses, affidavits, notices, and other court documents
• Advising clients
• Representing clients in the High court and Magistrates Court, Labour Court and Land Claims Court
• Proper File management, communication with clients, Advocates, Sheriffs, the Master's office
• Certain social responsibilities, e.g. attending networking evenings & marketing events
• Afrikaans and English proficiency : non-negotiable
