A safety‑conscious driver with local route knowledge is essential for efficient logistics operations. Key responsibilities include safe operation, on‑time deliveries, proper loading/unloading, vehicle upkeep, and accurate logs.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable Light Commercial Vehicle Driver to handle deliveries and transportation needs within Kimberley and the Northern Cape region. This role is essential for ensuring the prompt and safe delivery of goods to various clients. You will be responsible for operating a light commercial vehicle, managing delivery schedules, and maintaining vehicle condition. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, possesses excellent driving skills, and has a good understanding of local routes, contributing to the efficient logistical operations of our client in the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a light commercial vehicle (e.g., panel van , small truck) safely and efficiently.
• Deliver goods to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
• Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly for transit.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Complete delivery logs and reports accurately.

Requirements

• Valid Code 10 driver's license .
• Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with light commercial vehicles.
• Good knowledge of Kimberley and surrounding areas.
• Ability to handle physical tasks related to loading and unloading.
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Professional attitude and good customer service skills.
