Job description

My client is looking for a qualified LMI that is registered with ECSA as a Lifting Machine Inspector in the Johannesburg area.

Must have the following:

• Scopes listed on the Registration letter from ECSA
• MEWPs
• Forklifts / Telehandlers
• Mobile Cranes (but not essential)

Have at least 3 years post-registration experience as an LMI

If registered for more than 5 years with ECSA, provide proof of Re-Registration and expiry date.

Responsibilities include carrying out load testing and inspections of the above-mentioned scopes, in accordance with:

• The requirements of Driven Machinery Regulation 18 (5), (6), and (7) of the OHS Act 2015
• Standards incorporated in the Act under section 44, OEM Specification, and Eazi Access Checklist and registers
• In full compliance with Eazi Access policies and procedures.
