Qualifications

• Valid Massage Therapy license is required.
• Certification from an accredited massage therapy school is required.
• Proven experience performing Swedish, deep tissue, sports or hot stone massages.

• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills are expected.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and empathetic Licensed Massage Therapist to join their wellness center in George . You will be responsible for providing a range of therapeutic massage services aimed at improving clients' physical well-being and reducing stress. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques to cater to individual client needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their health goals and provide tailored treatments in a serene and professional environment, contributing to a team dedicated to promoting health and relaxation within the Western Cape community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various types of massage, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone therapies.
• Conduct client assessments to understand their medical history, physical condition, and therapeutic needs.
• Develop personalized massage treatment plans to address specific client concerns such as muscle pain, tension, and stress.
• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information.
• Ensure the treatment room is clean, organized, and properly equipped, adhering to all hygiene standards.
