Holy Family College is a 120 year old co-educational Catholic School in Parktown, Johannesburg. The school is looking for an innovative and inspiring Librarian to contribute to our quality team. Starting date is 1 January 2026.

We are seeking a passionate and organised School Librarian to join our dynamic team from January 2026. The successful candidate will oversee the management and development of our Primary and High School Library, fostering a love of reading, research, and lifelong learning among our students.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Library and Information Science or an Educational Qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in managing or assisting in a school library environment
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Self motivated
• A passion for promoting literacy and a positive reading culture among learners
