Job description
Overview

The Lending Officer develops, implements, and supports the growth of the Bank's lending and deposit processes.

The position is responsible for developing and retaining banking relationships with Alpine Bank customers in the assigned location.

Officer level will be determined based on experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain long-term lending and depository relationships with the bank's clients and business partners, pile loan packages and facilitate negotiations of loan structures, including fees, loan repayment options, and other credit terms. Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate according to loan policy; assure timely loan closing and funding activities. Prospect and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners. Manage a personal loan portfolio to meet Alpine Bank's strategic goals for the branch. Participate in activities that support the community; demonstrate knowledge of the market, competition, profitability, and align the department's work with strategic goals. Sell Alpine Bank products and services directly or through referrals. Maintain regular and reliable on-site attendance as an essential function of the position. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education or Formal Training : Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with a 3.0 GPA or above; degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or similar is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to obtain one.

Experience : Commercial banking, retail, or hospitality experience preferred; prior consumer and commercial lending experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Working Conditions

Professional office environment; regular travel to conferences, meetings and branch locations; standard office equipment usage; physical requirements include occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

Other Details

Starting rate of pay from $65, to $, per year, depending on experience; actual pay and officer level commensurate with experience.
