Job description

Our client, a well‑established water treatment/hygiene company, is looking for an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to work in the London region. Applications from South West London, North London and surrounding areas are welcome.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must hold City & Guilds/WMS, Legionella Control Association certificates.
• A good working knowledge of domestic, commercial and industrial water systems, supplies and water regulations.
• Extensive experience of carrying out risk assessments in line with ACOP – L8 is essential within the water treatment/hygiene industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office package.

Responsibilities:

• Produce schematic drawings, comprehensive reports and final documents.
• Conduct monthly temperature testing, water sampling and surveys of water systems and supplies within the guidelines of ACOP L8.
• Attend meetings with clients to discuss findings of reports.
• Conduct Legionella Risk Assessments to ACOP L8.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety and company procedures.
• Provide recommendations and pricing for remedial works, routine control measures through quotations, and carry out such works based on the risk assessments.
• Build and maintain a good working relationship with clients.
