A leading tech solutions company in South Africa is seeking a Legal Advisor to oversee the legal function and ensure compliance. The role involves managing contracts, disputes, and providing legal advice, requiring an LLB degree and 3–5 years of experience. We are looking for a Legal Advisor that must possess experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law, gained as in-house counsel, within a law firm, or through a combination of both.
The incumbent will be responsible for the daily operations of the legal function and ensuring organisational compliance.
Minimum of an LLB Degree. 3–5 years' experience within the legal sector. Comprehensive understanding of applicable Acts and Regulations. Solid knowledge of commercial law and litigation. Experience in logistics and labour law will be advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Strong computer literacy. Proactive, enthusiastic, and solution‑driven attitude. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong time management and administrative capability. Ability to provide regular advice and reports to senior management. Results‑oriented with a strong sense of accountability. Strong drafting and vetting skills for legal documentation. High accuracy in preparing legal records and contracts. Ability to provide clear, concise legal advice relevant to business operations. Sound legal judgement, problem‑solving, and decision‑making ability. Dynamic thinker with strong ethical standards. Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, honesty, and integrity at all times.
Salary is market‑related.
