Legal / Admin Controller job vacancy in Port Elizabeth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a young, ambitious legal professional who is meticulous, proactive and not afraid to stand firm when protecting the company’s interests.

Salary: R50 000 per month negotiable commensurate with qualification and experience.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree

  • Exposure drafting and managing commercial agreements

  • Ability to identify and address potential risks before they arise

Key Performance Areas:

  • Prepare all senior employee contracts
  • Prepare all ‘internal’ sales , shareholder , consulting agreements with shareholder changes – all mostly from existing templates, however, will need to analyse and improve any outdated agreements
  • Assist managing the audit process with external auditors and internal accounts team
  • Keep record of all legal documents and filing system
  • Attend internal disciplinary process with senior staff
  • Manage admin process with brand ‘principles’ regarding rebates , incentives, legal notices
  • Records of all dividends , salary adjustments , life insurance policies , short term business insurance claims between businesses and brokers/shareholders ‘Comrisk’
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of shareholder, sales, and commercial agreements
  • Identifying and mitigating legal and financial risks across the group’s diverse business interests
  • Conducting due diligence for potential partnerships or acquisitions
