Job summary

A leading educational institution located in Cape Town is seeking a part-time lecturer in psychology. The successful candidate will develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate units, supervise students in clinical placements, and engage in academic administration. Ideally, candidates should hold a Masters degree in psychology with experience in a supervisory role and a commitment to teaching and assessment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Masters degree in psychology.
  • Two years experience with Board Approved supervisor status with AHPRA.
  • Previous experience in academic administration.
  • Significant experience in the administration of the WISC, WAIS and WIAT.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Develop, teach and moderate units at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Contribute to onsite clinical supervision of students.

About the role

As an integral member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of units within psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, onsite clinical supervision of students completing placement at FedCare Psychology Services, and the administrative functions of the institute.

You will:

  • undertake teaching and assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate students;
  • develop, teach and moderate units at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels;
  • contribute to onsite clinical supervision of students completing placement at FedCare Psychology Services.
