Position

Lecturer – Introduction to Research for Humanities (IRHU7311) at Emeris Bordeaux.

Job Purpose

Deliver lecture modules based on provided content; guide students and support their learning; mark submissions; engage with campus teaching and learning.

Key Performance Areas
  • Prepare lectures based on provided content and supplement with own expertise.
  • Deliver assigned modules to stated outcomes and contracted hours.
  • Mark student assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support student academic success by implementing workshops where needed.
  • Perform academic admin, capture assessment marks and report on student success.
  • Provide content feedback, engage in professional development, and attend initial training sessions.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
  • Ideal: Master’s Degree including a research methodology subject covering quantitative and qualitative methods; research dissertation/project in the discipline of the programme.
  • Alternatively: Honours Degree with a research methodology subject and dissertation/project in the discipline of the programme; generalised research methodology component on undergraduate transcript.
Minimum Work Experience
  • Lecturing experience in research methods, quantitative techniques, research design and development of research models.
  • Experience with statistics concepts and principles; statistical/mathematical analysis in research projects.
  • Experience in completing dissertation research using qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods.
  • Publication of research work in peer‑reviewed/accredited journals.
Working Conditions

Independent Contractor role.
