STADIO is a comprehensive private higher education institution, consisting of the following academic schools: Administration and Management, Architecture and Engineering, Commerce, Education, Fashion, Humanities, Information Technology, Law, Media and Design, Policing and Law Enforcement. Employment Type: Full‑Time Fixed Term Contract (01 January to December).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Lecturing (with specific focus on Private Law and / or Mercantile Law and / or Social Justice)
• Assessment and moderation
• Academic administration and other delegated duties
• Research
• Marking assignments and exam papers
• Using the Learning Management System (LMS)

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum: at least a South African LLM degree in the relevant field (or a closely related field)
• Expertise in the relevant field: Private Law and / or Mercantile Law and / or Social Justice
• Relevant teaching experience in higher education
• Good knowledge of CANVAS as an online learning management system / tool
• Good knowledge of legal databases such as Sabinet, JutaStat and LexisNexis
• Basic research track record
