Job summary

A global data and technology company is seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to manage training requests and serve as the first point of contact for L&D inquiries. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, IT proficiency, and a diploma in Human Resources. Responsibilities include maintaining training records, liaising with training providers, and ensuring compliance with SETA regulations. This role is critical for supporting organizational learning and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Process training requests following established procedures.
  • Liaise with training providers for training arrangements.
  • Act as first point of contact for L&D queries from employees.
  • Maintain accurate training records and attendance registers.
  • Manage training supplier onboarding process and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with SETA requirements.
  • Assist with WSP / ATR submissions and reporting.
  • Support onboarding processes by coordinating induction programs.
  • Manage implementation of learnerships and report progress.
  • Generate reports on training spend and participation.
  • Support data collection for audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process training requests in line with established procedures
  • Liaise with training providers for necessary training arrangements
  • Act as the first point of contact for L&D queries from employees and managers
  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers, and learning histories
  • Manage training supplier onboarding process and facilitation of purchase orders for training payments
  • Ensure compliance with SETA requirements and BBBEE skills development targets
  • Assist with WSP / ATR submissions and other statutory reporting
  • Support onboarding processes by coordinating induction programs
  • Manage implementation of learnerships
  • Prepare and submit relevant documentation for learnerships to SETA within specified timeframes
  • Monitor and report progression of the learnership programme
  • Generate reports on training spend, participation, and effectiveness
  • Support data collection for audits and scorecard verification
