An exciting opportunity exists for a Learning & Development Manager to lead the implementation of innovative training strategies and skills development plans within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO : What You’ll Do :
  • Design, implement, and evaluate learning & development initiatives aligned to strategic business goals.
  • Oversee skills planning, training budgets, and statutory reporting to ensure compliance and business impact.
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver best practice L&D solutions that strengthen leadership and talent pipelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement and support BBBEE and legislative compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while managing quality, safety, and environmental aspects of the L&D function.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and decision-making models (situation analysis, deviation analysis, etc.) to tackle challenges in a complex environment.
  • Anticipate and respond to future forces such as evolving technologies, socio-economic shifts, environmental influences, and the external war for talent.
What We’re Looking For :
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in HR, Training Management, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years’ experience in Learning & Development at a specialist, supervisor, or senior level.
  • Knowledge of HR legislation, BBBEE processes, and preferably previous registration as a Skills Development Facilitator.
  • Proven ability to influence, engage, and deliver impact through leadership and talent development initiatives.
  • Complex business environment experience would be advantageous.
