Job summary

A leading construction firm in Gauteng is seeking a Workshop Foreman with at least 5 years of experience in a factory environment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the construction industry, proficiency in welding, and the ability to read technical drawings. Responsibilities include maintenance of production equipment and ensuring deadlines are met. A Valid driver's license and a Working at Heights certificate are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years working in a factory/production environment as a Workshop Foreman.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport required.
  • Experience in performing basic electrical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Identify possible production issues.
  • Repair and perform routine maintenance of production equipment.
  • Ensure customers' deadlines are met.

Skills

Reading and understanding technical drawings
Working at Heights certificate
Welding experience (TIG, arc, CO2, spot welding)
Knowledge of OHS
MS Office skills
