Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the sound design team, providing creative direction and technical guidance.
• Develop and implement innovative sound design concepts for various entertainment projects.
• Oversee the creation, editing, and integration of all sound effects, foley, and dialogue.
• Collaborate closely with directors, game designers, and other production staff to achieve the desired sonic vision.
• Manage audio budgets and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Record, edit, and mix audio assets to the highest standards, ensuring clarity and impact.
• Utilize industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and audio middleware.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in sound design and audio engineering.
• Conduct quality assurance for all audio deliverables, identifying and resolving any issues.
• Mentor and train junior sound designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional sound design work across multiple projects.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sound design, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Cubase.
• Experience with audio middleware (e.g., Wwise, FMOD) is highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of audio principles, acoustics, and psychoacoustics.
• Experience in game audio implementation, dynamic audio, and real-time audio systems.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A degree in Audio Engineering, Music Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Passion for the entertainment industry and a keen ear for detail.
