Placements24 is seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to join our remote sports technology platform. You will lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable software powering analytics and performance tools.

You will set technical direction, mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with product managers to define roadmaps while ensuring security, reliability, and high-quality code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years of professional software development with at least 2 years in a lead/senior role.
• Strong backend experience with Java, Python, or Go; cloud platforms AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams remotely.
• Passion for sports and technology is a plus.

Responsibilities
