Job summary

Big Science Sweden is looking for a Lead Servo Technician for the SKA-MID Dish Structure, based in Carnarvon, Northern Cape, South Africa. The selected candidate will lead a servo team, receiving training from the Dish Contractor (CETC54) as production increases.

This position is a 2-year fixed-term appointment focused on steering the telescope through a Bosch Rexroth motion control system and managing operational tasks reporting directly to the Site Construction Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead an independent servo team as production ramps up.
• Receive on-the-job training from the Dish Contractor.
• Report to the SKA Mid Dish Site Construction Manager.
