About the Role Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead Scientist to direct their materials science research and development efforts in Mossel Bay . This senior position requires a visionary leader to guide innovation in novel material development, characterization, and application. You will be responsible for setting the research agenda, managing a team of scientists and engineers, and ensuring the successful transition of new materials from concept to production. This is a critical role for an experienced scientist passionate about pushing the boundaries of material science in a dedicated R&D facility located in the scenic Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the research and development of novel materials, focusing on areas such as polymers, composites, or advanced ceramics.

Requirements
