Placements24 is seeking a Lead Sanitation Technician for a hybrid role primarily on-site in Pretoria, with some remote administrative duties. You will lead a team of sanitation professionals, perform advanced cleaning tasks, and help develop sanitation protocols to maintain health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in sanitation with a year in leadership, strong training and communication skills, and experience with a wide range of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sanitation Technician or similar role, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Ability to train and guide junior team members.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong understanding of sanitation best practices and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of sanitation technicians in daily cleaning, disinfection, and maintenance tasks in Pretoria.
• Perform complex cleaning procedures including deep cleaning and sanitization of high-risk areas.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Train new sanitation staff on procedures, safety guidelines, and equipment use.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring stock rotation.
• Assist in developing sanitation procedures and safety guidelines for hybrid models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site sanitation issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain logs of cleaning activities, inspections, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations.
