Placements24 is seeking a Lead Remote Architectural Technologist to translate complex architectural designs into detailed drawings and construction documentation. The role is remote-first, operating from Nelspruit/Mpumalanga, with collaboration across a dispersed team of architects and designers to deliver project documentation for diverse building typologies.

You will utilize Revit as a core tool, mentor junior technologists, ensure compliance with SA standards, and manage multiple projects

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• At least 7 years of professional experience as an Architectural Technologist focused on technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit is mandatory; AutoCAD and other software are advantageous.
• Knowledge of South African building standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and construction documents using BIM software.
• Translate designs into comprehensive documentation packages for tender and construction.
• Collaborate with architects and project managers through virtual channels.

About the Role

This role is pivotal in translating complex architectural designs into detailed technical drawings and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
