Qualifications

• PhD in Physics with a specialization in Quantum Physics.
• Minimum 7 years of extensive research experience in quantum mechanics, quantum computing, or quantum information science.
• Proven experience leading and managing research teams and projects.
• Strong publication record in leading scientific journals.
• Expertise in experimental quantum physics, including cryogenic systems, lasers, and sensitive detectors.
• Proficiency in quantum simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate theory into practical applications.
• Willingness to work exclusively on-site in Polokwane.
