Placements24 seeks a Lead Production Supervisor to oversee operations at the Paarl facility. You will lead a team of production staff, drive efficiency, ensure quality, and manage shifts while maintaining a safe manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving, and strong communication. You will coordinate with quality control and maintenance, implement process improvements, and contribute to meeting production targets in a dynamic plant setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the production process closely, identifying and resolving issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all production activities are carried out in accordance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.
• Conduct daily production meetings to discuss targets, issues, and improvements.
• Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality metrics.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all staff.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to address production-related challenges.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Manage shift handovers effectively to ensure continuity of operations.
• Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
