Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Qualified Clinic Sister to operate a Primary Health Care Clinic within a pharmacy at Carnival Mall. The role requires a registered nurse with SANC registration and BHF eligibility, and experience in PHC settings.

You will manage clinic operations, patient records and claims, and maintain stock while building relationships with patients, store management, and suppliers. A valid driver’s license and willingness to work retail hours are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Nursing practitioner must obtain BHF registration.
• Grade 12 – Matric.
• 2-3 years’ experience in practicing as a Primary Health Care Clinic Sister.

Responsibilities

• Perform Clinic Sister duties according to industry regulations and best practices.
• Manage patient flow and set clinic objectives to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure all clinic services are available during hours of operation.
• Keep accurate patient records and ensure follow-up communication.
• Process claims accurately and timeously.
• Maintain clinic stock and equipment in working condition.
