Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in power electronics design and development.
• Proven track record leading complex projects from concept to production.
• Expertise in simulation and design tools for power electronics circuits and control systems.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices, converter topologies and control strategies.
• Experience with thermal management and EMC design principles.
• Familiarity with battery technologies and BMS design desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; capable of guiding remote teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high-efficiency, high-power-density power electronic converters (e.g., DC-DC, DC-AC, AC-DC).
• Develop and implement advanced control algorithms for power converters and battery management systems (BMS).
• Perform detailed circuit simulations and analysis using industry-standard tools (e.g., SPICE, PLECS).
• Oversee the selection of power semiconductors (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC, GaN) and passive components.
• Design for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and thermal management.
• Develop and execute test plans for prototypes and production units, including performance, reliability, and safety testing.
• Mentor and guide a team of power electronics engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, mechanical) in a remote setting.

Requirements
