Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Sports Science or related field.
• 7+ years coaching elite athletes at professional/international level.
• CSCS/NSCA certifications or equivalent.
• Evidence-based program design experience.
• Knowledge of biomechanics, physiology, nutrition for athletes.
• Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into training.
• Strong remote communication and leadership skills.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an exceptional Lead Performance Coach with extensive experience in developing elite athletes. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to leverage your expertise to guide athletes across the country. You will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive performance programs that encompass physical conditioning, skill development, mental resilience, and recovery strategies. The successful candidate will work closely with athletes and their support teams to optimize performance and achieve peak potential. This role requires a deep understanding of sports science principles, advanced coaching methodologies, and the ability to foster a high-performance culture remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized and team-based performance enhancement programs for elite athletes.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience coaching elite athletes at a professional or international level.
• Relevant coaching certifications (e.g., CSCS, NSCA, or equivalent) are essential.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing evidence-based performance programs.
• Strong knowledge of sports biomechanics, exercise physiology, and nutrition for athletes.
• Proven ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable training strategies.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and leadership skills, effective in a remote setting.
• Experience with virtual coaching platforms and technology-enabled performance monitoring.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to athlete well-being.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to diverse athlete needs.
