Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Online Physics Tutor for a fully remote, part-time role. You will mentor students in high school and university-level physics, deliver one-on-one and small-group sessions, and create engaging study materials for a global learner base.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, has proven tutoring/lecturing experience, and excels in online communication. Prior mentoring experience is highly desirable, with strong independence and remote-work

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Physics or a closely related field.
• Proven experience as a physics tutor, teacher, or lecturer, with a strong understanding of high school and introductory university physics curricula.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively.
• Excellent online communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with online conferencing tools and digital whiteboards.
• A passion for teaching and helping students succeed in physics.
• Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and maintain high professional standards in a remote setting.
• Prior experience in a lead or mentoring role is highly desirable.
• Must be able to commit to a part-time schedule, fully remote.

Responsibilities
