Qualifications

• 6-9 years editorial experience in an established newsroom.
• Newsroom management experience would be preferential.
• Experience in a digital environment would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct News24’s KwaZulu-Natal coverage.
• Submit a news diary daily to ensure important news is covered.
• Edit submitted news copy to meet quality standards.
• Assign stories to reporters and freelancers.
• Keep abreast of local, provincial, national and international news.
