MORE Collection is seeking a General Manager to lead Marataba Safari Lodge in a premium wilderness setting. You will drive strategic and operational performance, delivering world-class guest experiences while ensuring sustainable, profitable operations.

The role requires a proven track record in senior hospitality leadership, strong commercial acumen, and deep passion for people, wildlife, and conservation. You will collaborate across departments to uphold luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• 10–15 years hospitality experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing luxury safari lodges or remote hospitality operations.
• Strong commercial and financial management capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and operational leadership for the lodge.
• Develop annual business plans and manage budgets.
• Drive guest experience, brand standards, and conservation interfaces.
• Oversee safety, compliance, and environmental sustainability.
• Build relationships with conservation authorities, partners and communities.
