A growing engineering and fabrication company is seeking a Dynamic Laser Cutting Specialist to lead a new team at its Germiston branch. This hands-on role requires a skilled technician with strong laser-cutting experience and the ability to drive production, quality, and team performance. The ideal candidate should have leadership experience and proficiency in CAD software, particularly Autodesk Inventor. This position offers an opportunity to oversee workflow and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and programming flatbed and tube/section laser cutters.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in laser cutting and fabrication environments.
• Strong CAD proficiency, preferably Autodesk Inventor.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a new laser cutting and fabrication team.
• Program, set up, and operate 12KW fibre flatbed laser cutters.
• Oversee workflow, production planning, and job scheduling.
