Job summary

Qualifications include a quantitative degree and at least five years’ experience in management information within higher education, with SQL proficiency and knowledge of HEMIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with strong quantitative component.
• At least 5 years’ experience delivering management information in higher education.
• Proven experience with SQL and database management.
• Proficiency with HEMIS and knowledge of DHET definitions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Extracting, analysing, and reporting management information.
• Undertaking statistical analysis and preparing formal reports for Executive and Management.
• Supporting the institutional planning, monitoring and reporting processes.
• Providing leadership in statutory planning, reporting and data management.
• Conceptualising and implementing appropriate systems in support of the Department’s functions.
