Placements24 is seeking a Lead Game Designer to join the Paarl-based creative team. You will conceptualize core gameplay mechanics, player experience, and overall design direction for new titles, leading a team of designers in a hybrid studio environment.

The role requires a deep understanding of game design principles, strong leadership, and the ability to translate concepts into playable features while collaborating with programmers, artists and producers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in game design, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior design role.
• Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of designing and shipping titles across platforms.
