Placements24 is seeking a visionary Lead Fintech Product Manager to define and drive the strategy for innovative financial technology products. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere while influencing the future of finance from our hub in Sandton.

You will lead a talented product team, collaborate with engineering and design, translate user needs into detailed requirements, and guide the product lifecycle from conception to launch to fuel growth and engagement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, CS, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
7+ years of product management experience, with fintech/financial services focus.
Proven track record of launching and scaling digital products.
Deep understanding of financial markets, payment systems, and fintech trends.
Experience with agile methodologies and product tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for fintech initiatives.
Lead product discovery with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user experiences.
Translate user needs and market opportunities into detailed requirements and user stories.
Prioritize the product backlog and manage lifecycle from conception to launch.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
