Job summary

Amaris Consulting in Johannesburg seeks a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to join our international, dynamic team. You will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and develop infrastructure as code with Bicep/ARM, while automating deployments with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

You will collaborate across tech and business teams to enforce DevOps best practices and integrate MLOps capabilities, while optimizing cloud-native data platforms such as Databricks,

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (Bicep, ARM, or similar).
• Proficiency in scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with Azure services and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with data platforms: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, SQL, or Azure Analysis Services.
• Understanding of MLOps or LLMOps concepts, including model deployment, monitoring, and versioning.
• Knowledge of observability tools and practices.

Responsibilities
