Placements24 is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to spearhead our data analytics initiatives in a fully remote capacity. You will lead a team of data scientists, mentor junior members, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement data-driven solutions.

The role requires advanced statistics, ML, and predictive modeling to extract actionable insights from complex datasets. You will help shape our data strategy and drive business decisions in a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, with at least 2 years in a leadership or mentoring role.
• Proficiency in Python or R, and experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working in a remote team environment.
