Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Cybersecurity Engineer for a fully remote role. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure infrastructure while guiding a skilled security team.

A strong emphasis on cloud, network, and endpoint security will drive our defense strategy. The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity engineering, expertise in threat modeling, and effective remote leadership.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity engineering with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of network, cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), and endpoint security.
• Experience with security automation, scripting (Python, PowerShell), and SIEM tools.
• Threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable cybersecurity systems and infrastructure.
• Lead the incident response process including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
