You will interpret blueprints, ensure safety and code compliance, supervise projects, and mentor apprentices while coordinating with clients and site managers.

Formación

• Qualified Electrician with Red Seal or equivalent trade qualification.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial electrical installations and maintenance.
• At least 3 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Expert knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and materials used in commercial settings.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various electrical faults.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical work.
• Ensure all electrical installations are performed safely, meeting local codes and national electrical standards.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Manage electrical project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
• Perform complex electrical wiring, conduit installation, and panel board terminations.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Order and manage electrical supplies and materials, ensuring efficient inventory control.
• Provide technical guidance and training to apprentice and junior electricians.
• Communicate effectively with clients, site managers, and other contractors to coordinate electrical work.
