Lead Caller – Letting Department

Ithemba Property Management is looking for a driven and confident Lead Caller to join our Letting team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, reactivating opportunities, and playing a key role in converting leads into successful lettings.

About the role

The Lead Caller is responsible for re‑engaging unqualified, previously unreachable, or non‑converting leads by making outbound calls and follow‑ups. The focus of the role is to assess interest, qualify prospects, gather accurate information, and either nurture leads or elevate sales‑ready prospects to the relevant agents.

Key responsibilities
  • Contact unqualified, cold, and previously unreachable leads via phone, WhatsApp, and email
  • Re‑engage prospects through professional communication and structured follow‑ups
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand tenant needs and assess suitability
  • Handle objections and disengaged prospects confidently and professionally
  • Qualify leads and transfer sales‑ready prospects to the relevant agents
  • Schedule and manage follow‑ups and appointments
  • Maintain accurate lead records, statuses, and notes on the system
  • Meet daily and weekly call and contact targets
Minimum requirements
  • Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Minimum 1 year experience in letting or a similar sales / customer contact environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Confident telephone manner and customer‑focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and meet activity targets
  • Basic computer literacy (Outlook essential)
